Dodge County is ready to ramp up the Dodge County Renovation ReUse building located at 62770 240th Ave., Kasson.

The County was able to construct the building with the help of a Greater MN Recycling and Compost Grant through the MN Pollution Control Agency. Through this effort they have two partnerships – one with Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity Restore-Rochester and the other with Better Futures MN. The DCRR will accept good usable building and household materials described on the attached lists BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. There will be a $5 charge per vehicle for drop-off. Please contact Rita Cole at 507-635-6114 or the Environmental Services Office at 507-635-6273 to set up an appointment.

The material that is acceptable to Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Rochester will be transported to their facility for resale. Those proceeds go to fund the building of homes for families in need. All other items that are on the Dodge County Renovation ReUse acceptable list will be stored until they are able to have a sale to the public that will support the re-use effort and waste diversion.
