UPDATES: (Sign up here for E-Notify)
“Please notice: we are moving the Recycling Drop-off Containers in West Concord, effective Oct 5, 2020. This change is needed to deal with the misuse of the blue Recycling Drop-off Bins currently located east of the West Concord Liquor Store. People are too often leaving waste items including furniture, televisions, toys, carpet and other non-recyclable materials. We have decided to move the recycling bins to a location that can be under surveillance 24-hours per day. Therefore, effective Oct 5, 2020, the blue recycling bins will be moved two blocks north to the County Highway Shop at 195 Front Street. Misusing the recycling bins is a crime, subject to penalty.”

SHARPS DISPOSAL - Dodge County Transfer Station accepts sharps/syringes from residents at no charge.
* All sharps must be in a leak-proof, puncture-proof sealed container such as a laundry
detergent bottle or sharps container.
* Bring them to the Dodge County Recycling Center Building and put the container in the large sharps gondola.
They are picked up by Mayo Clinic and disposed of in their medical incinerator. PLEASE do not put loose sharps in the drop box recycling bins or in the garbage as this is a health hazard for everyone who handles your waste.
