On Sept. 11 and 12, Mantorville will host the 56th annual Marigold Days festival. Organizers are “cautiously optimistic” that the festival will be held as planned, given the current levels of COVID infections throughout the state.

The event offers a huge antique and flea market, a flower show, a quilt show, a car show, bingo, lots of food vendors, live music, street dances, fireworks, a 5K run/walk, a baseball tournament, and more. The Grande Parade is Sunday afternoon.

The festival has always been held the weekend after Labor Day.
