This is the 29th year for the Relay for Life event in Dodge County. This local event has raised millions of dollars for the benefit of the American Cancer Society. Annually, Dodge County routinely earns a spot in the top 10 counties in the U.S. for fund-raising per capita for this drive.

Throughout the evening, there will be food vendors, children’s games, a petting zoo, music, and fellowship.

This year, activities start at 4:30 p.m. with the Survivors’ Reception in the 4-H building. The 4-H building will also hold the 29th annual history display.

The silent auction will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. in the commercial building. Locks of Love will be at the event from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Opening Ceremony is at 6 p.m. and will include the lighting of the Flame of Hope, a victory lap for survivors, and the team parade.

There will be music throughout the evening.

The Luminary Program will be at 8:30 p.m. and the Honorary Chair and Honorary Caregiver will speak then.

The event will end at midnight.
