Dodge County boasts the longest running county fair in the state. This is the 164th year the fair has been held. During the fair’s five-day run this year, many activities are scheduled to entertain old and young alike. There will be delicious food; entertainment including live bands, fireworks, open stock car races, bull riding, and an antique tractor pull. New this year is the Enduro Race and the Trailer Races are returning, which have been the talk of the town the past few years, said Marilyn Lermon, President of the Executive Board of Directors for the fair.

Tamer activities include inflatables, a kiddie pedal tractor pull, a coloring contest, bingo, and of course, the carnival rides. The livestock exhibits will have beef, goats, horses, rabbits, poultry, and junior dairy. Other exhibits will include flowers, quilts, pies, FFA and 4-H exhibits, and the quintessential Minnesota food - hot dish.

The Fair will be held at the county fairgrounds in Kasson, and it promises to be more spectacular than ever this year to make up for its absence in 2020. For more details, visit www.dodgecountyfreefair.com
