A new temporary COVID-19 relief grants program has been established to provide economic relief to local businesses and nonprofits that have been adversely affected by pandemic related executive orders. At their meeting January 12, the Dodge County Commissioners approved the Dodge County Business and Nonprofit Relief Grants Program. Dodge County has received $413,321 from the state to fund and manage the grants program. Businesses that were closed or affected by any pandemic-related executive order may be eligible to apply. Grants of up to $7,500 will be awarded to eligible businesses and nonprofits on a first-come, first-serve basis. Business and nonprofits may review eligibility requirements and the application at bit.ly/dodgereliefgrants. The deadline for applications is February 14.
