Woody Bear, Work Zone Traffic Control Supervisor for Shafer Contracting, removed the last barrier Aug. 18 for the new Dodge County Road 1 bridge and opened the road to traffic south of Claremont. Under the bridge, work continues on the rest of the Highway 14 expansion. With the opening of this bridge, Steele County Road 16 and Dodge County Road 3 will close and detour.
