Attention Driver's License Applicants: The State has recently introduced the option to renew or replace a "Standard" Driver's License online. If you have no major changes to your license you can check online at drive.mn.gov to see if you qualify.
Customers are required to follow COVID restrictions. Driver's License customers should arrive early to guarantee service. Our building hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Beginning November 2, 2020, the Driver's License area in Dodge County will be making some changes in an effort to accommodate the increase in demand and current COVID restrictions. The Driver's License area will be closed November 11th - 30th. The area will be more efficient for our customers after the renovation is complete, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Birth Certificates can be obtained on the same day if you are applying in person. Valid identification and tangible interest in the record are required for all requests, along with a completed Birth Certificate Application.
Tangible interest is determined by the Minnesota Department of Health. Please click on the following link for Tangible Interest Information, which will bring up a detailed chart from the Minnesota Department of Health.
If you are mailing your request for a Birth Certificate, your signature on the Birth Certificate Application must be witnessed by a Notary Public. Please mail to:
Dodge County Recorder
721 Main Street North
Mantorville, MN 55955
