CURBSIDE GARBAGE COLLECTION is provided by licensed haulers. All haulers are required to provide their customers with volume based pricing..."so the less you throw away, the less you pay".

Rural Garbage Collection can be provided by licensed haulers, but it may be hard to find a hauler to service remote areas. If hauling service is not available, garbage is accepted at the Dodge County Transfer Station. Fees are based on weight and volume of waste.
DODGE COUNTY TRANSFER STATION accepts waste from haulers, businesses, and residents. Waste is processed and transported to the Olmsted Waste-to-Energy Facility where it is converted into steam and electricity.

PUNCH CARDS are available for customers who self-haul their trash to the Transfer Station in bags. The cost to dispose of a bag of trash is $4.50/bag but with the punch card you can dispose of 10 bags for $40. A savings of 50 cents per bag. Ask about the punch cards at the Transfer Station Office.
SHARPS DISPOSAL - Dodge County Transfer Station accepts sharps/syringes from residents at no charge.
- All sharps must be in a leak-proof, puncture-proof sealed container such as a laundry detergent bottle or sharps container.
- Bring them to the Dodge County Recycling Center Building and put the container in the large sharps gondola.
They are picked up by Mayo Clinic and disposed of in their medical incinerator. PLEASE do not put loose sharps in the drop box recycling bins or in the garbage as this is a health hazard for everyone who handles your waste.
